Todd Verrierehi Gary,
i don't know if i have found it or not.
Leon Harris has generously sent me a couple of different ones he thinks may fit that i expect to receive any day.
they are coming along with a parts movement he sold me at a very reasonable price.
but, i still don't know which part number i am looking for on the staff.
what i am working on is a Deuber i bought from Patrick in pieces and missing a few parts.
would you happen to know what part number i am looking for?
thanks
todd

Todd Verrierehi Gary,
i went back in my emails with Leon.
he sent me the #1721 & #1722.
i think one of these will fit.
i may still be looking for a pallet fork.
i will know when the parts movement arrives.
thanks

Richard RomeroTodd,
The staff you need depends on whether you have a small or large hairspring collet and SR vs DR. A #1720 fits the (L.C.) large collet.

Todd Verrierethanks guys for the help.
what is S.R. or D.R. ?

Todd Verrierehi everyone,
todd here,
i just measured my hairspring collet and it comes out at .72 and single roller.
so i expect the 1721 that Leon sent me will be right.
and i guess the .04mm difference in measurement means the hairspring will be a nice snug fit.
i will let you know when the staff arrives.
thanks again

Todd VerriereP.S.
Richard,
do you know where i can get a copy of that Hampden Watch Co. book?
i have looked on Epray and didn't find it.
i find myself leaning towards Hampdens and Hamiltons in my collecting.
although i am still buying 7 jewel Elgins as practice watches.
thanks to everyone for all your help
