South Bend case bow wear "Click" to Login or Register

Hi all, I have a South Bend factory-cased 227.It's a YGF Panama case. It's still a nice looking case but the French bow is getting worn down pretty thin.It has their "can't come off" bow, which I think has steel pins thru it into the neck, so it seems secure enough, but it bends easily. My question is, what would be the best way to fix that?Has anyone else ever ran into the same problem? My thought would be to have it built back up with gold solder, or would it be better to just try and find a replacement? Thanks again, Ted Brown.
