I'm not too sure if anything has been said before on this, but on the 500 run of south bend polaris's, there is at least a one difference between the earlier numbered one versus the later numbered ones. The marking of "21 Jewels" is in different script. See the pictures below. First one is serial number 518136, second is serial number 518359.  | |||
