In addition to watch clubs, South Bend conducted also local advertising campaign. In local newspaper - South Bend news-times they were presenting "Well-Known South Bend Men who owns South Bend Watches", each of it with individual number and a name of local noble citizen. It started on July 31 1919 (with number 1) and last one I was able to find came from June 08 1922 (with number 149). Possible there was more. I thought it may be interesting for South Bend fans/collectors .  | |||
