screwdriver sizes "Click" to Login or Register

I am looking to buy a set of watchmaker screwdrivers to start experimenting on some cheap non-working pocket watch movements, is there a good size range to have (0.50, 0.60,0.80, 1.00, 1.20). I don't want to spend a lot of money --maybe $20-$40. thanks.

Joe,

Dont buy the lower end screwdrivers (I did and wasted my money) I found swiss or german made are the better ones. I ended up buying them after the junk ones.

Mike is right, if you are getting serious about watchmaking a quality set of screwdrivers, say a Burgeon would be a worthwhile investment. But to get you started Joe, a package will be headed your way soon with a set of seven screwdrivers, a pair of tweezers and a case-opening knife with my compliments.

Keep up the great posts my friend!
