I'm trying to undo a botchmaker's repair of an Elgin 18s, 3/4 plate, grade 240 watch. I need a lower center jewel, Elgin P/N 2089. It's the center wheel jewel that fits in the barrel bridge. I believe that is considered the lower jewel.

Many thanks!

John, I think you have that reversed. The upper jewels are the ones you see when you open the back of the watch. The lower jewels are under the dial. The upper center jewel for the gr.240 is #2090.

Thanks Jerry, you are correct. If anyone out there has an Elgin upper center jewel, P/N 2090, please let me know.

Thanks everyone!
