I am looking for a main spring for my Jeager LeCoultre. The movement is exactly same as the pictures on http://www.cjbalm.com/watches/watch263.htm

Please help me finding right main spring for the watch.

Thank you.

Welcome Yasuyki to ch 185.
I can,t help you much on the spring, the watch is british made, i know mostly about american watches. If you were able to remove the spring and measure thickness and lengthsomeone else could probaly help you more.
Maybe there is a reference book around that will have this information in it.
I am sure you will have a good time here and enjoy all that ch 185 has to offer. Smile

Yasuyuki,

I looked in all of my bestfit catalogs and there is very little info on the LeCoulter 467/2 calibre. So I think that Kevin is right in that the width, thickness and length are going to need to be measured before we can find the right spring.

Perhaps someone else here has more detailed lists than I have.

Thank you for both Kevin and Mike.

I am planning to take the main spring out this weekend and I might leave another message asking a main spring comparable to the original.

I am amazed that some people can identify calibre number so quickly.[LeCoulter 467/2 calibre]

I appreciate all your helps and supports.

Yasuyuki,

As to the calibre ID... That's what was listed in the link that you posted with the pictures. I assumed it was a correct ID. So the credit goes to whoever listed the item in your link.

My bestfit catalog lists the calibre 467/2 as a 17ligne movement, but only lists a balance staff number in any of the info.

Any LeCoultre experts out here?

I haven't had time to do much of a search on this yet, but I did find a Jaeger LeCoultre forum that might offer some help:
