Comment section question "Click" to Login or Register

I was looking up the particulars for a Waltham movement and in the comment section is the abbreviation Ch. which apparently stands for church. Would anyone be able to explain what is meant by this abbreviation with respect to a movement?

I really don't know for sure what it means there, but CH can be an abbreviation for "Swiss" in some circumstances. Like this internet address which is for ETA Switzerland...

http://www.eta.ch/ <<< Note "ch" in the address!
