The BEST Screwdriver Sharpener on the Planet???
This is the Bergeon 6924 Screwdriver Sharpener. I have seen it for sale at prices between $450.00-530.00.

It has 3 stones; two work simultaneously to sharpen the sides to the perfect curved radius while the third flattens the tip. At least in theory, this should produce the perfect screwdriver blade.

I have seen one in person, and it is a beautiful tool, but I still couldn't justify that kind of money.

If you pick one up, let us know how you like it.

What an amazing piece of equipment that is!

One highly respected watch repair professional once confided in me that he uses the relatively inexpensive screwdrivers. When I expressed my surprise he explained that after sharpening a few times he moves on to a new one. I use the Burgeon tools as they are easiest to use and help me minimize my slipups. With a tool like that even I would never commit a screwdriver related error.

Put one of those on "Daddy's Wish List" girls!

Seems like a lot of money just to sharpen a few screwdrivers. Eek

Yeah, but if this was your profession there would actually be savings realized over time. Plus, your screwdrivers would always have perfect edges helping to minimize "slips" and in building a reputation for doing precision quality work.
