When you have disassembled and cleaned your Elgin 571 and are getting ready to figure out how the "strange new" 1950's (designed by a reject from Von Brauns Rocket club, no doubt) levers went, here are are my "before" pictures still with the 1974 vintage hardened "grease on the parts. The top view of the setting parts is facing up for picture but is turned over and you can see where the intermediate Minute-Hour wheel marks show how it goes down on the movement.
