What is the proper way to remove the hairspring & balance from the balance cock of an ETA 2892 movement? I'm used to pocket watches and older wristwatches that have a stud screw.
Thanks.

I found the answer, for those interested. This version of the 2892 movement has fingers that hold the hairspring stud and regulator. To remove the balance, insert a small screwdriver between the stud and the cock body. This will open up the fingers enough to get the stud out. Before doing this, rotate the regulator stud to free up the hairsrping. The stud can be pushed back into the fingers like a press-button, preferably with the balance cock in place.
