I'm refurbishing an old Gruen Curvex and the 4th wheel is slightly bent. Would anyone have one or know of a source for one. Thanks for your help.

Hello Michael,

sorry to hear about the bent wheel, surely it is something to replace or at the worse, to fix.
In case you do not find a replacement, what will you do?

Michael,

good you came across the right part and you recovered your rare Curvex, the net really put people togheter , before it a problem like this have been unsolved for long time.

Then the possible resources where:

- put the wheel flat , the place it in a wheel fixture togheter with the other related wheel and test it for correct roundness.
If not true then it should have been refinished with the special teeth' chamfering tool and re-tested,

or

- extract the bent wheel from its shaft and replace it with another wheel with the same diametre and number of teeth, test as above.

These methods were used extensively in the past but seldom today.
