Can anyone tell me the part number for the balance staff in a Illinois 438? Any help would be welcome.

Sometimes a serial number is more helpful than the model number.

There was 2 different styles of Model 1 Grade 438 1xt's Robert to my knowledge, which one you have I do not know but the staffs required for the 2 different styles are the following Illinois part numbers; #47611 & #47612, what the difference is between the two I do not know.

Thank you so much for your Help Bila.

Would you know what the part number is for the winding stem?

Best regards

Illinois factory part #1880 should be for the winding-stem/arbor Robert. Would probably have the Stem and the #47612 staff in both .85mm & .9mm pivot sizes.

Hello Bila,

I would buy the stem and both of the staff from you so I have the right one to give to the watch maker.

I can Phil pay you for them if you have them.

Thanks

Have you checked the staff for the pivot size Robert, it will save getting the wrong size then having to change jewels? I will PM you with shipping options and then you can make a decision, Mel has said he has them in .10mm, so it my pay to get your watch repairer to check?
