Lever Arm
I recently purchased an Elgin boxed hinged, 18s, HC, sidewinder.
To my surprise, lever arm or stem is missing. Therefore, I cannot set the watch. Is this a large job in replacing the arm? Your guess on cost as well?

Anyone have any idea where I can purchase a part?

Is there any more information needed in finding a lever arm or stem?

Thanks!

Stephanie,

I may have the part you need. I'll check and get back with you soon.

Steph,

Do you have a side-winder (hunter movement in a open-face case) or a hunter movement in a hunter's case?

Are you sure it is lever set? Have you removed the bezel to ensure the tip of the lever it's not hiding behind it? Can you provide the serial number?

The repair should be easy if only "parts" are missing and there is no movement damage. There are loads of Elgin parts available. I would higly recommend that you have the watch serviced and a new mainspring installed while you're at it. Drop me an email if you would like it repaired.
