Bunn Special Roller Table and staked in jewel? "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I bought a needs repair Bunn Special.
There were other things wrong but I Was not happy since the roller jewel was tilted out a bit.

I noticed no resin and the table looks copper colored.
I now believe the jewel was staked in somehow. While attempting to move it straight up and down I ended up breaking it off!

My question is will this copper colored material bond as normal with resin?
And I hope the hole is standard and not deformed in the original staking procedure.

Maybe I should have not tried to move it. But when jewels are installed we want them straight in every way.
Can I be reasonably certain to reuse this copper colored roller table?
