I just picked up a Waltham, 1872 movement and dial and it really needs cleaning. I haven't tackled one yet but is there anything I need to know before I start? I'm heading out of town for a few days and probably will wait until Sat. to do anything.

If it is the rear Key wind and set, take some pictures of the layout as you disassemble it.
