In Need of a Lever for my South Bend 223 "Click" to Login or Register
posted
Sadly the tip broke off of the lever for my South Bend grade 223 Pocket watch. So it now requires tweezers to pull out!

Could I use a lever from a 227? Or another grade?

If you happen to have an extra lever you'd be willing to sell or know of a good parts dealer I would be very grateful.

Hi Adonya,

The lever from South-Bend watches of the same model, now everyone I said MODEL as in "First-Model" and "Second Model" will interchange. You stated it correctly, both of the GRADES meaning the 223 and 227 that you cited are "Second Model" movements and many parts will directly interchange.

That being said, it would be best to not remove the lever from anything but a parts movement. With a bit of patient digging we will locate what you need Smile my friend.
