Bought this Elgin Commander Hunter case as a 18s.
Guess what it is a 16s.with a 18s winding stem. There is a set screw in the neck that holds the stem in.My quandry is that I do not have a 16s.
stem to fit this.Is there such an animal?I do not
want to send it back as it is a nice case.Any suggestions?
Roger

Roger,
If what you are saying is that it won't fit into a 16 size movement to wind it, just take a small file and dress down the sides until it fits in the 16 sz. movement..Just try to keep it square...
