Thanks for the info Frank. I can't tell any difference from the originals. Best regards, Greg

That looks great! Thanks. Have you had any experience putting the red color back on some of the Bunn Special that have red type fill? I'm sure the procedure would be the same, but was wondering what would be a good match as the red seems to be almost transparent. Regards, Bruce

Bruce, Haven't tried colors, just Black. I know what that Bunn Special looks like and I think you would have to use a product like "Ceramit". It comes in 8 different colors (transparent) and with a little mixing I think you might get the right color. There's also the opaque ceramit which is great for dials. Frank, I did a quick search and found Ceramit at a place called Shore International –lots of interesting things http://shorinternational.com/Plating.htm It is a neat material and the transparent red looks promising. I had thought about trying red Dykem (layout dye) but this would certainly be more permanent. Thank you for the suggestion. Bruce

Bruce, If it works out (or not) snap a pic and let us all see how it works out! Take a "before" now. Anyways, glad to be of help. I've used Ceramit for dials and it's a nice product. Frank "407" Kusumoto

Frank, This is interesting, can you please comment how you have used Ceramit on the dials?, was it for repainting the numbering ? Saludos

Carlos, I'll look for a suitable dial and take pictures during the process. It takes awhile because the "ceramit" takes over 24 hours to dry. Maybe a project for next week. Frank "407" Kusumoto

Frank, Thanks for the offer, probably could be placed in the tutorial area. Look forward to your pictures. Saludos
