Timing machine Tapes decifered. "Click" to Login or Register

I have discovered a book on timing machines and deciphering their read outs. The book deals in DU, DD,SR,SD,SL,SU.
Was the mainspring wound by hand? There is a chart that tells you from the machines reading. How about a broken lower balance jewel? There is a tape readout for that too.
I will e mail you the chart you need to see, but I'm not going to do the whole book and post it here. For a better view, hold your Ctrl key and roll your mouse wheel.
