Bought lathe from Mike H and compound slide from Paul D.
Both are members here and good guys to work with
time to make a stand for it any idea how it should be done ?
I know I do want to have a shelf under for the collets and other tooling
I have the fallowing the original tool rest,off center plate,compound slide,collets,motor and foot switch what alse I will need?

Basically Peter the base is just whatever works for you, you could build a 1 drawer cabinet and mount the lathe to the top and have a drawer for the collets, some have stands etc..so whatever would work best for you is what I would do, but getting some opinions would be great also..thanks again and good luck..
