hi everyone, against good advice from Samie Smith [gave in this topic taking apart winding mechanism on Waltham 1900] i took apart the shipper assembly and winding mechanism on my Waltham 1900. wow! what a beautiful thing it is, but now i know why you said it is a pain to put back together. here are all the pieces. ![]() | ||

took me some time but after looking over all the pics i took before taking it apart i think i got it right ![]() | |||

i have taken it apart and put it back together a few times and it gets easier. thanks everyone i am having a blast and learning so much. putting it back in the watch after cleaning might be a challenge but i have David Abbes' tutorial to help me when i get there. Todd ![]() | |||
