Waltham 16s Vanguard Roller Table SOLVEDGo ![]() | New Topic ![]() | Find-Or-Search ![]() | Notify ![]() | Tools ![]() | Reply to Post ![]()
Greetings...I am attempting to repair a 1904 16s Vanguard,I was able to restaff the balance with a 4860 str. shoulder staff. The roller jewel table will not seat snug on the staff shoulder but the other safety roller fits fine,is there some way to close up the hole slightly so it is tight again??I had no trouble removing these from the broken staff.............Update.. After using the miraculous IHC search engine I discovered Scott Cerullo had a similar problem with a 1899 staff, turns out some of the replacement staffs have a slightly smaller shoulder diameter for the roller table to seat!So once again Brian C. has come to my rescue.
