Hamilton Myron grade 980 "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I have my father's Hamilton Myron wristwatch. The movement is a serial number, in the 100,000s, which indicates it was made in 1937. The Myron model was introduced in 1941, and disappeared from catalogs after 1951. The 980 serial numbers that were produced in 1941 begin in the 300,000s. I don't know the year he bought the watch new, but I would assume it was fairly close to it being introduced. Any thoughts?
