Excited to learn all I can about these great time pieces Am looking for balance staff number for 992B. 1946 Watch. Appreciate anyone’s knowledge of where I can find the info. New member and new to this Site.

Welcome to the site Doug, staff you are chasing is a friction fit type Hamilton #607048 (new number)or #659 (old superseded number).

Douglas, If you scroll up in the same place that you posted this, just click on Hamilton Horology Reference Materials, you will find a Hamilton 1961 parts list that Lindell posted. Hope this helps

BTW Same staff for 950B, 2974B, 4992B. In short all the "B" grades. (I will not use Hamilton "model nos." nor "class nos." because Hamilton never did).

You are free to print your own copy for in-hand use or keep the link Gary provided available for easy reference.
