A beautiful 18 size 21 Hamilton 940 lever set railroad approved pocket watch. This great watch winds and sets easily, started right up running. The hairspring has a fast, flat, steady motion. The 20 year gold filled SB&B case looks good with no dings or dents. Tight bow, thick mineral glass crystal. The covers screw on/off with ease. The double sunk porcelain enamel dial has a light hairline at the 38 minute mark and some edge chipping from 24 to 31. Fabulous looking movement with 21 ruby jewels in gold settings. Thank you Phil.

Received 30 OCT 2015. With sincere thanks.
It feels 'solid' in hand and will be used regularly.

G'Day Phillip,
I have a question about parts for the Hamilton that I bought just over 2 years ago. It is not keeping time and I have a watchmaker in Australia who is having trouble sourcing a new main spring. Could you point me to a possible supplier of a spring? I will get more details from the watchmaker, Dom Tancredi, as to what he needs.
My thanks for your time and assistance.

Hi Philip,

Plenty of mainsprings here in Australia mate, I am very surprised that your Watchmaker can not source oneSmile Drop me an email with you needs, as I will have one here if Phil can not supply.

Cheers,
Bila
