992B Movement Feature Details Database

The Winding Wheel Damaskeening on 992B movements changed early in "Type 3" production. Signature Types 1 and 2 have the circular damascening on the winding wheels. Later plain winding wheels were introduced, presumably as a cost saving measure. (See the image below in this posting for more details.)

Around the same time they went from a Polished Gold Center Wheel to a plain Brass Center Wheel. To determine approximately when each of these changes took place we have prepared this database.
