Seems to me that the 992B's I've seen with 3 digit or low 4 digit C prefix serial numbers have the serial marked in a much smaller font than the later watches do. Has anyone else noticed this, and has anyone pinpointed where the changeover in serial number size occurs? Fred

I believe this changes by 5 digits.. let me pull an example this evening...unless someone else posts.. I know C6000 area was still a small font...

Terry, I have 992-B serial number C8003 and it is definitely the large font also. Hope this helps. Regards, Larry

here is one a little lower....
i will break some others out by the weekend.. think i have a 1000 number & a 5000 & this 6000 number.

C2547, C4732, and C6660 are all small font.
