Hi All Posted this under the 992B Examples in Brown Boxes Would like feedback on this anyway. Proof that the Base Metal #14 case was an Hamilton issue item.

The model 14 case was used by Hamilton and was marked as such. I have seen one model 14 case which was in it's original brown box like the one you showed that the case was not marked Hamilton, but the case serial # matched up with the box. There are a lot of model 14 style cases out there that seem to be a generic case which were available for general casing. Rob www.pocketwatchrepairs.net

Keith: if you do a search for Hamilton model #14, you will find a good discussion on a model #14 not marked Hamilton that I bought in January 2013. Thanks gary

Keith, That’s a great looking model 14 watch. Gary’s and yours are the only two documented boxed sets I know of. RR
