It is my impression that the Swiss made relatively few high grade 3/4 plate movements (IWC being a major exception), certainly less than U.S. manufacturers. I am posting one of the few such movements in my collection, which is a 16-18 size C.H. Meylan. I would love to see other examples of Swiss 3/4 plate movements, and to learn why the Swiss never made many movements of this type if my perception that they did not is correct.
