I've not turned anything up either, but the movement has a hint of 'IWC' around the barrel bridge area.
Any chance of taking a look under the dial or around the movement for any ID / Cal marks?
Looks a very nice quality movement!

I wish it were in my posession, therwise I could pull the dial. Only the serial number 6098 is present on the movement and case.
