Hello,

I just bought a Frodsham movement that has a helical spring. The watch originally had a pivoted detent but has since been converted to a lever escapement. It still retains its helical spring though. Is value added in this case, taken away, or does it stay the same?

Thanks!

(watch is still in the mail, so I dont have pictures)

Hello Gary,

While I can not answer your question, I used our "Find-Or-Search" feature, I found 31 topics with some images...

Frodsham

Hope you can find some worthwhile information in some of those previous topics!
