A pocket chronograph , swiss made for the russian market ca 1900 Trader in Russia was Pavel Bure (Paul Buhre). He was from switzerland and became famous in Russia. He had stores in St Petersburg and Moscow. He imported swiss watches from various makers. The given example was likely made by Le Coultre and finished by Staufer. Remarlable is the 60 minute register runing counter-clockwise. The case is silver: it has the swiss exportmark (standing bear) and the russian marks for its fineness.
