I was looking through some boxes and ran across this Swiss pocket watch, about 12 size, 7 jewels, marked Ruxton Watch CO. 224, case is marked Meyer and Studelu S.A., Lusterite Quality. Never saw plates like this, any thoughts.

I didn't think there was much value here, as it's a 7 jewel unadjusted watch, just wanted to show odd square shaped movement plates.

Gary I believe some watches with the same plate design went to Canada and were labeled for one of the large Canadian department stores. I just cannot remember which company or store so I must be having a senior moment! No real value but to me they remind me of what a Chinese knockoff of the Dudley Masonic might look like.

There is a Shell Oil Co pocket watch on eBay right now (21 hours to auction end as of this writing) with the identical movement marked Girard-Perregaux.

BTW, the starting bid price on the referenced Shell Oil Co pocket watch auction seems ridiculously high. Somebody is fishing.
