Help with identification
It's really quite interesting. The movement has a cut away in the pattern of what looks like a man hunting highlighted with hand engraving.

It is marked on the inner case cover, Mi CHRONOMETRE 22 RUBIS. It's a key set, key wind. I've attached a few photos to this thread. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Tom it looks like it was made for the Oriental market, perhaps S.E. Asia? Just a guess.

Thanks for the reply. I'll look closer at this later and see if I can find any other marks inside.

I've had a few over the years!! I think it's similar to a Chinese Duplex Wink

The Chinese duplex is on target but when you look at it it almost seems more for the Vietnamese, Burmese or Thai area. Very nice!

Deacon ; you could very well be correct. The skeletonizing is very much as in the Chinese Duplexes, but there were special watchmaker's variations for nearly every corner of the globe according to local preferences Wink

Thanks for the replies, gents. Can anyone estimate a value on it? It does work, but I believe it needs to be serviced.
