Ok I need your opinion on this watch I found it packed in bubble wrap in a box by itself. It looks like swiss fake to me but wondered why it was wrapped so well. Note the 3 balance cap jewel screws. Picture hard to see of movement but it justs says Ohio watch Co. also. Thanks

Yeah, well it's marked Ohio which makes even a fake worthwhile!

I have a dial that looks just like your's, Robert. Only has 2 dial feet at 15 and 45 (and long ones like a Swiss dial).

I guess I was right being a swiss fake. Wonder what watch company they were trying to copy most of the time I find them with a name similar to a known American name. I also wonder why it was packed away so well

Here is a grouping of three of these, with different markings (except the serial number on two of them, which is the same as Robert's)

If interested a list to name a few.........

Wow John I never seen that list there are a lot more than most realize. It usually is easy to spot a few after looking at so many better made movements but I had to post this because of how carefully it was wrapped up in a draw. SO I thought I would shoot a picture up to see if something I might be missing. Thanks for that list I am going to copy and paste it for my records.
