I have been looking up and downs of internet for this one ,looks like fusee verge pocket watch picture is not that great thanks to my cell THE MOVEMENT SAYS " JOHN ROGERS CHARING CROSS LONDON 1113" (I HAVE SEARCHED ALL OVER BUT CAN NOT SEEM TO FIND MUCH OF ANYTHING ABOUT A JOHN ROGERS OR THIS POCKET WATCH Watch winds from the front just like clock hole in dial for key. any help will be good news | |||

So far all I have found is he is listed in "Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World" by Loomes as a watchmaker London (Charing Cross) 1804-1824 Could you post a photo of the dial, unusual I think for an English watch to be dial side winding, most like that were French. At least in my limited knowledge of these things. | |||
