THE MOVEMENT SAYS " JOHN ROGERS CHARING CROSS LONDON 1113" (I HAVE SEARCHED ALL OVER BUT CAN NOT SEEM TO FIND MUCH OF ANYTHING ABOUT A JOHN ROGERS OR THIS POCKET WATCH
Watch winds from the front just like clock hole in dial for key.

So far all I have found is he is listed in "Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World" by Loomes as a watchmaker London (Charing Cross) 1804-1824

Could you post a photo of the dial, unusual I think for an English watch to be dial side winding, most like that were French. At least in my limited knowledge of these things.

I don't know if this is the same John Rogers but this is from "Monthly Magazine" Middlesex London April 4, 1799

I am at work right now and have no picture of the dial but will do tomorrow.
