This watch is being offered to me. it is by David Taylor, London, 12S, open faced, 18K, KW, KS, gilded movement, serial #689. The porcelain dial also has the serial number in addition to the name of the maker and London. Can anyone tell me anything about this maker. Thanks in advance. Jim

Taylor must have been one of the most common watchmakers names, but Loomes only lists one David in London & just states 1851-69
