I was not expecting the famous "60 Minutes" stopwatch, but there it was, in the Air and Space Museum, Washington.

But, in the back of my watch collecting brain - I could not help but wonder - What brand is it?

I've often wondered the same thing.

Arthur Bloom's obit states that it was his Minerva stopwatch that was used. On the other hand, Wikipedia claims that it is a Heuer.

The obit and Wikipedia seem to agree that it was Arthur Bloom's Minerva from 1968 to the early 80's, and a "swankier" Heuer from then until at least the Wikipedia entry was updated October 2006. However, this museum display says it was the one there at the museum from the 70's until it was replaced by computer graphic display in the 90's. I wonder which story is correct??

Probably a lot like all of the "official" Elvis Venturas around?
