Is there any knowledge on the production numbers of these watches, as they do not seem to come up often, and were only reluctantly accepted into RR service in the US, more so in Canada.
There is a list on another board, but not so many listed there.
So would it be in the hundreds or thousands, and were they specifically made for RR service or sold to anyone who wanted them ??
You will also note that most recorded ones, also seem to be P/L watches, rather than unmarked ??
Any info would be appreciated.
