I have a Zenith pocket watch, that was left to me by my father. He was with the Canadian Army in Europe during the second world war. This watch was traded to hjim by a German Officer being held in a detention camp. The serial number is 2819524 and has inscribed on the inside case "Grand Prix Paris 1900". Has Hall marks that are very difficult to make out and appears to be 800 silver. Any one have any idea as to the value of such a piece?. The books contain very little info on Zenith watches. There are no markings as to the number of jewels. It appears to be a military watch it has both 12 and 24 hour numbers on the face. The 1 - 12 numbers and the hands are gold in colour, doubt that they aare actually gold.

David try to post a picture. I know that Zenith 15 jewel watches seem to have been popular for Turkish railroad use and on other Eastern European rail lines and government entities. Bila might have a lot better information.
