Help To Identify Labrador 16s Watch
Anybody have information about this watch? It is a size 16 Swiss. The case is an Excelsior 14K Gold filled hunter case.

How many jewels does it have? It there a listing anyplace about this watch?

Here is photo of the movement. the words after Labrador are, "REG MARK".

It is probably a private label....and it looks like a 11-15 jewel....

Maybe Tom can use his investigative skills and come up with whoever "Labrador" is.... Big Grin

Well I don't know if this helps but on both ebay & under a google search of "OMEGA LABRADOR" I found photos of several identical watches, one site said that Labrador "was a range of high grade movements produced by Omega"

The watch photos I found doing the search are just like Ernie's & they all have the same regulator & stud.

I googled Omega Labrador. It was very informative. Thank you Tom for the tip.

I am pleasantly surprised. I had no idea the Labrador was such a high grade watch with quite a history.

Interesting Watch Ernie, Newfoundland and Labrador, who the dogs are named after, is an island province that joined Canadian Confederation in 1949, this could be an Omega private-label for the Canadian market.

Labrador was a series name for the Omega Watch Company. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
