information on possible watch maker "Click" to Login or Register
posted
I have an old verge fusee that I would date to be some where from the early 1700's.it has five sided pillars and the French style balance cock, and winds from the front..looks to be a French or continental style movement..it has the name " IOLY AUPLAIN " hand engraved on the movement where a makers name is usually marked on them..i have looked everywhere I can think of for some history on the maker, but can not find anything anywhere..any thoughts would be appreciated..
