Hamilton 999 Delong Escapement

Had a Hamilton Ball 999 16s 23j come in to my shop for servicing. Look like any 999 Hamilton Ball. After taking the movement out of the case I found it had the Delong pallet fork in it.
Can anyone give me some info on this watch?
