I was wondering if anyone knows when Ball opened the Ball Winnipeg Office. Thanks Tom

Hello Tom: First reported advertisement for the Webb C. Ball Watch Co. for the Winnipeg branch, shows it located in the Dominion Bank Building, from the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen, May 1912. And from other research information I have says that it was the Canadian Division of the Webb C. Ball Co. of Chicago. Larry

Thanks Larry I purchased a Ball Watch Co. 8-day Seth Thomas clock just like one Steve Middlesworth had posted except the label in the bottom of the case on his listed Cleveland, Chicago & Winnipeg, while mine only lists Cleveland & Chicago. Your information will help me pin down the date. I don't know a lot about clocks but from what I have read Seth Thomas printed a date backwards on the case with a letter designating the month. This one looks like either January of either 1901 or 1910 I am not sure which. Thanks again Tom
