Question; Did the Ball Co. order watch movements from the (Swiss) Record Watch co. after their Hamilton 999B orders were cpmpleted or were they more or less contemporaneous? What were the reasons for dropping Hamilton? Prices? The Ball wristwatches were all Swiss,I believe (A. Schild and ETA).

Bill, The last Ball-Hamilton Watches were finished in about 1955 with the straight-line damaskeening versions shown here... Ball-Hamilton 999B ... gold center wheels? After that they sold the Ball-Record 435 Railroad Grade pocket watches such as you mentioned and the Ball-Trainmaster Railroad Grade wristwatches. Lindell
