I can remember seeing a picture of a 16s standard Hamilton early 17J 972, it had a 2-screw crown wheel.This was marked " Ball & Co. Cleveland",but no "Official Standard" or anything like that on it.I can't remember what the damaskeening was, but I don't think it was the usual circular Ball pattern.Anyone know anything about these?Were these just a private,made for Ball,label?If I remember right, even the dial was a regular Hamilton, but marked same as the movement.Thanks again, Ted.
