Pinkerton Detective Presentation Watch
I've been missing a pocket watch since I moved a few years ago. Can't find it anywhere, and I have an awful feeling that one of the movers might have been tempted to "borrow" it. It's an 1895 Elgin in a OF silveroid presentation case, engraved on the back "to Detective James McParland, from the Pinkerton Detective Agency 1895." It's value lies in the engraved case. I Just thought I'd post this here in the off chance anyone ever runs across such a thing--there's only one in the world, and it's mine!

Hi Dennis,

If you have them, please post the movement and case numbers. And if you have pictures, that could also be very helpful. I have long held that when we share a special watch here on IHC it becomes a form of insurance.

Let's see if we can make something good happen for you!

Lindell
