New York Standard Convertible
I don't know too much about the NY Standard Watch Company, but this one sure has an interesting setting sytem. Made this one a lever set. I can't find much information about this model. Can some more knowledable chime in about these convertibles?

The Complete Price Guide has a description and picture of this watch movement beginning on page 328. It is the "16 size first model", according to the guide. Further in the price listing the 15 Jewel version convertible is claimed to be a 4 star $300 - $850 valued collectible. Oddly the guide fails to even list lower jeweled versions.

Ernest,
I have one of those 7 jewel convertibles that I have been looking for a pallet & bridge, for about 15 years. Must come from a convertible.
What does it say in the back of your case?
Imagine a 4 star watch listing at $300.00? Can you say, time for a book upgrade. These watches would sell for double or triple that at a J&H auction. Nice rare watch.
