I found in a sales site one watch that is signed American watch Co in the movement and case.
The serial number is the movement is 525684.
I found an similar watch in this link Vander Woerd's Dustproof Patent.

Someone help me to identify this watch?

Looks like a Swiss, with the ratchet & crown wheels, also the click & it appears to be a detent stem.
